Doves are a beautiful design for wedding, anniversary, and birthday cakes. With these three sizes of dove cutters, you can easily make an elegant 3 Dimensional gum paste or fondant bird for your cake.
- Roll out the gum paste or fondant on a non-stick surface using powdered sugar for dusting for easy removal.
- Cut out three dove shapes using one size of cutter.
- Complete a 3-D effect by gently folding the bird in half and place in cup or v-shape mold to dry .
Tips: To obtain a finer finish, use a ball tool to soften the edges of the wings. The flat doves can be used immediately. A wire can be inserted into each dove for use in wired arrangements and sprays.
